This position will report to the Live Events Manager.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate event preparation, conversions and breakdown for private, internal and major eventsAct as the main point of contact for all labor requests from Tepper Sports and Entertainment staff.Create and disperse weekly labor schedules that include when labor will be on-site and tasks will be completed.Collect, track, and allocate labor expenses as they relate to the correct eventCoordinate venue conversions between major events to include labor and necessary rental equipment to complete tasksCoordinate internal equipment usage, including the tracking of our stadium inventory as it relates to conversions, and events.Coordinate event operations in collaboration with Live Events Manager to include staff and event parking, gate set up, and additional logistics related to building readiness.Participate in meetings and discussions with stadium vendors and the venue's labor union, IA 322, as it pertains to labor and event operations.Work closely with the events teams and attend weekly meetings to understand logistics related to venue set up.Special projects as assigned by the Live Events ManagerActively participate in executing private, internal and major events as neededEnsure stadium cleanliness and organized storage areasAdditional related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Sports and Entertainment Management, Event/Facility Management, or related fields.3-5 years of event and operations experienceMust have a valid driver's licenseMust pass pre-employment screeningsMust be able to work flexible, non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office, Momentus Elite, and Social TablesExperience working in collaboration with 3rd party union & non-union labor vendorsOperations experience in an arena or stadium with knowledge of event set up and building readiness.Experience working with vendors integral to executing arena or stadium eventsSkills for SuccessAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust possess strong customer service skillsStrong work ethic and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorks well within a collaborative, team-driven, and goal-based environmentWorks well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitudeMust maintain complete confidentiality of privileged, and/or sensitive informationMust be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays when necessaryAbility to prioritize workload to manage time and tasks while ensuring prompt responses and on-time deliveryMust be a team player, reliable, and dependablePhysical RequirementsAbility to meet physical demands of the job which include lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, stooping, and walking for an extended period of timeStanding for extended periods of timeSitting and working at desk on a computerWalking through the stadium which may include stairsAbility to work in outdoor stadium environments which may include inclement weatherWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility.
