As a Utility B Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling water heaters and related components with precision and care. Utilizing a range of hand tools and portable power tools, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You Will: Read tape measures and other measuring devices, such as torque wrenches. Read, understand, and follow detailed assembly instructions. Safely operate hand tools and light power tools. Perform tasks according to established procedures with limited opportunity for independent decision-making. Monitor safety issues and promptly notify the appropriate individual. You Have: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical assembly, hydro testing, plumbing, setup, and insulation. Good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and collaboration. Ability to read and understand wiring and plumbing schematics. Proficiency in using cordless power tools. Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment : Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
