We are looking for a sharp and reliable Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter to join our team. We are a well-established, highly respected environmental air quality consulting firm based out of San Juan Capistrano, California. We work on a wide variety of environmental and air quality permitting and compliance projects across a diverse range of California industries and locations.

Position Summary:

Reporting and working directly with Senior Leadership and Executive Management, this role will primarily support a variety of Human Resources needs which will focus on full cycle benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, staff training, annual reviews, and other functions of the HR team. In addition, this position will support a variety of business, office, and Executive Management support needs on top of the primary duties listed above.

The position requires a professional individual with a high standard of quality, efficiency, and organization as well as the drive and initiative to complete tasks independently. This position will require the candidate to prioritize multiple responsibilities and proactively manage and drive others to complete their tasks by engaging with staff and various departments. The candidate will be required to think critically and solve problems in a self- sufficient manner with support provided as needed.

The Job Responsibilities include:

Support Recruiting function with scheduling, skills and candidate assessment, administration, resume management, job description support, career fair support, candidate communication, and helping to build our candidate database.

Work with the HR Team to administer the Annual Review Process by managing schedules, organizing feedback surveys to ensure completion, and working with other teams to ensure Annual Review data and packets are accurate and prepared in a timely fashion.

Help administer company Onboarding and Staff Training functions through tracking and updating training materials and seeking continual improvements to systems and processes.

Benefits administration to help support HR Team during Open Enrollment and investigate and provide solutions for employee support regarding

medical/dental/vision

coverage issues.

Prepare payroll by ensuring deductions, mileage, and employee billing timesheets are accurate.

Work with other teams to ensure proper communication and execution of HR initiatives.

Provide day-to-day office support such as mailings, ordering supplies, company event planning, vendor relationships, employee travel, and remote office support.

Provide additional support to technical projects and staff, Proposals Team, Accounting Team, and Marketing Team as needed and as time allows.

Candidate Qualifications include:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, English, Psychology, or relevant major required from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0; GPA will be verified.

3-10+ years of work experience in Human Resources, Executive Support/Assistant, Business Administration, and/or other related business operational support.

Knowledge of basic Human Resources or Business Administration functions.

Solid organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to think critically and develop solutions.

Advanced computer applications and strong Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access abilities.

Knowledge of HR software systems required (PayCor Preferred).
