Itemized Duties & Responsibilities for Staffing Coordinator :
  • Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
  • Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
  • Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning the staff/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems.
  • Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms.
  • Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets/time schedules are up to date.
  • Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
