salary: $15 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing: Generating invoices for goods sold or services rendered to customers.
  • Monitoring Payments: Tracking payments from customers against outstanding invoices.
  • Recording Transactions: Entering transactions into accounting systems or software to maintain accurate records.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciling accounts receivable records with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Following up on Late Payments: Contacting customers regarding overdue payments and negotiating payment terms if necessary.
  • Issuing Statements: Sending periodic account statements to customers to remind them of outstanding balances.
  • Customer Relations: Building and maintaining good relationships with customers while ensuring timely payment.
  • Credit Management: Assessing the creditworthiness of new customers and establishing credit limits.
  • Reporting: Generating reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and other relevant metrics for management review.
  • Collections: Initiating collection efforts for seriously delinquent accounts, which may involve sending collection letters or engaging in legal action if necessary.
