The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning HR initiatives and projects with business goals, planning & executing HR projects and supporting employee relations, talent management and organizational development. Assures regulatory compliance relative to personnel, compensation and benefits, and payroll administration. Operates within the policies and guidelines established, and assures objectives are uniformly applied.

Who YOU are:
  • 5-8 years in a HR generalist background in personnel administration, compensation, benefits, training, payroll and employee relations.
  • Must be familiar with Federal and State laws affecting Human Resources.
  • Bachelors degree or combination of work and school experience.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification and supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Financial, industry experience is a plus
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
What YOULL do:

Collaborates with management to develop and implement HR Strategies which support business objectives. Provides support to leaders on HR policies, practices and initiatives. Assists in resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.

Develops and implements HR programs; coordinates HR activities, looks for efficiencies which can come with AI and ensures alignment with HR and organizational goals and budgets. Reviews existing programs to assure completeness. Participates in cross-functional duties to deliver HR initiatives as scheduled.

Monitors project progress, tracks milestones and communicates updates. Reviews metrics and data and develops strategies to mitigate challenges. Evaluates data outcomes and makes recommendations for process improvements.

Serve as liaison to consult with employees, supervisors and managers on various HR matters. Develops or supports existing plans and provides ongoing support to increase engagement. This may include but is not limited to; DEI program and IIPP/Safety/WVPP plans.

Supports other HR functions within the department as needed, which may include supporting talent acquisition efforts, performance management process, benefits and compensation analysis and documentation, as well as HR Generalist duties.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
