The salary range for this position is $18 to $23 per hour

  • Assist with the preparation and review of sales tax exemption documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct research on sales tax laws, regulations, and exemptions to ensure accurate interpretation and application.
  • Collaborate with the tax team to identify potential sales tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Support the preparation and filing of sales tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in the maintenance and organization of tax records, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and accounting, to gather necessary data and information for tax-related projects.
  • Stay updated on changes in sales tax laws and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the tax team.
  • Participate in special tax projects as assigned, which may include process improvements and system enhancements.
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to taxation is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of tax principles and familiarity with sales tax concepts preferred.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Previous experience using other Google Workspace applications preferred but not required.
