The implemented acquisition strategy will address and balance the various inputs of product, features, brand values, inventory levels, seasonality, supply chain, cost, ad performance, and a go-to market calendar. This will require the Performance Marketing Manager to have real experience and understanding in all of these areas. DUTIES: The Performance Marketing Manager will receive a go-to market calendar, budget, and growth goals from the Marketing Director. Using these inputs, the Performance Marketing Manager will create and implement an acquisition strategy within Meta and Google channels. In addition to strategy, the Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation of any copywriting and graphic/digital design to support acquisition strategy. Once the acquisition strategy is implemented, the Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the consistent analysis and reporting of channel performance to the Marketing Director. The reporting will balance the summization of raw data and the translation of data into actionable insights the marketing and product team can utilize. The Performance Marketing Manager will initially focus on the channels of Meta and Google, but the scope of the role may expand into other channels in future years such as affiliate, influencers, Reddit, X (Twitter), Pinterest, TV (linear & CTV), Programmatic Display/Video, and Catalog/Print. The individual in this role will be tasked with the evaluation of expanding into potential new channel when needed. The Performance Marketing Manager will also work directly with the Marketing & E-Commerce Director on contributing to related departmental tasks such as email marketing, SEO, content strategy, site merchandising. The role will also have the opportunity to contribute their channel’s insights into the future go-to market calendar with the Co-founder. The Performance Marketing Manager must have a broad understanding and semi-mastery of all areas of acquisition strategy. He/She will seek creative and practical solutions that may stretch beyond the current scope of the role in order to expand the brand awareness and customer base of EVERGOODS. He/She must be able to develop effective and elegant solutions within the constraints and limitations of our current budget, brand vision, and brand values. The Performance Marketing Manager will be organized and have strong project management skills in order to meet deadlines and keep the team up to speed with channel performance. He/She must effectively communicate ideas and be creative within the bounds of their owned channels. He/She must demonstrate proactive initiative and excel in navigating ambiguity. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute and scale the growth strategy for paid social channels with a primary focus on customer acquisition through Meta and Google Develop paid channel strategies and allocate budgets across channels to drive EVERGOODS’ growth plan Develop campaign concepts and strategies and then build creative (copywriting and assets) to support said concepts Collaborate with product, marketing, ecommerce, and customer teams on creative strategy and product launches Monitor and analyze campaign products sales data, market insights, and competitor landscape to identify best practices, core performance marketing opportunities for future campaigns. Analyze and present channel performance and insights to management Optimize processes across all aspects of our paid marketing including audience targeting, budget optimization, data collection, analysis, and creative feedback loop Utilize a go-to-market calendar to align marketing efforts around the biggest opportunities on our product roadmap. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Investigate and propose new marketing/advertising channels for EVERGOODS to utilize. Execute the growth strategy in any newly adopted channel. Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop strategies for other company channels (email, site merchandising, customer behavior, e-commerce, etc) AREAS OF SUPPORT: Creation of assets and strategy for organic social channels Customer support and communication across organic and paid channels Affiliate marketing and communication in tandem with Marketing Director Warehouse support during periods of high volume or when others are out of the office RELEVANT SKILLS: 2+ years of experience running Meta and Google ads 2+ years of experience using Google Analytics, Looker, Triple Whale or other BI tools to analyze data 2+ years of experience in e-commerce or retail A unique passion and understanding of the everyday carry sector and the key benefits that best translate into compelling and effective advertising Strong command of marketing unit economics and financial concepts such as LTV/CAC Analytical mindset with the ability to think through difficult problems, interpret them, and share findings with a team Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, Figma (or Photoshop) Growth mindset - You are curious and love to learn.
