Purpose

Performs the preparation of internal and external financial reporting, including management reporting, investor and lender reporting and compilation of other monthly, quarterlyand annual financial data. This position is also responsible for weekly/periodic borrowing base calculations and submissions. This position will also assistour senior financial analyst with system administration duties focused on Oracle and Trecs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares in accordance withGAAP and applicable reporting requirements, as required, all monthly, quarterly, annualand other periodic filings.
  • Helps with technical accounting research and presents to leadership for decision making
  • Records journal entries and completes account reconciliations as required
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operationalchallenges.
  • Functions as secondary financial system administrator for access requests, hierarchy changes, etc.
  • Supports implementation and maintenance of compliance program including sox controls, internal and external audit support
  • Supports special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Performs other duties asassigned
About You
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field or an equivalent amount of experience is required
  • Minimum 2 years public orprivate accounting experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controlsand financial reporting,required
  • Must be a self-starter who can work well within various situations
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent PC and related spreadsheet applicationskillsAccuracy and attention to detail critical forrole
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a mature mannerrequired
  • Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting time sensitivedeadlines
  • Possess ability to analyze, interpret, and report financialdata

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Incumbent may sit for long periodsof time at a desk or computer terminal
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephoneand other office equipment in the course ofa normal workday
  • Stooping, bending, twistingand reaching may be requiredin completion of job duties
