Toll Brothers, America's leading builder of luxury homes, seeks an experienced Area Production Manager for brand new communities located in Westborough, Massachusetts. What is the opportunity? The Area Production Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of all construction related activities within their assigned area to ensure even flow production, compliance with building codes, and company quality standards, optimization of construction budgets and ensuring adequate distribution of resources. What are the primary responsibilities? * Production Process Support * Technical oversight of construction activities ensuring consistent execution, efficient processes and optimum cost effectiveness * Control the permitting, starts, scheduling and even flow processes * Managing the area construction budget * Collaborate with other functions on construction related matters * Monitor home construction to ensure houses are moved daily * Coordinate the effort of even flow construction with release dates * Weekly production meetings with construction managers * Complete BuildPro tasks through CM Go. * First approver on SDW contracts * Handle challenges in the field and customer challenges (Not resolved with CM) * Serve as the communication liaison between assigned sales personnel and the DVPS * Ensure Accountability and Adoption * Coordinate and review weekly SWPPP inspections and maintain permits * Coordinate safety training * Ensure compliance with code, regulatory requirements and company quality standards * People and Talent Management * Assist in the evaluation of construction employee performance to identify strengths to build on and opportunities for growth and improvement * Help to provide employees with opportunities to further develop strengths and address opportunities for growth * Resource planning based on production needs and priorities; delegate work based on staff competencies * All other duties as assigned This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the nation's most respected Fortune 500 companies Qualifications Does this describe you? * Able to manage projects involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality * Ability to perform quality assurance testing * Create, execute, and validate test plans * Determine testing standards and manage all activities related to testing. * Influence others in quality best practices. * Manage, communicate, and mitigate all risks associated with the execution of testing as it relates to quality * Assess and advise on the possibility of testing process alternatives * Assess vendor's capabilities for supporting testing efforts * Manage stakeholder relationships and promote quality across organization * Ability to plan and prioritize while focusing on detail orientation and effective time management * When speaking and writing, uses appropriate grammar, organizes ideas clearly, and articulates ideas concisely * Ability to manage individuals and groups * Optimize performance of people, including determination of capabilities, integration into teams, allocation of tasks, direction, support, guidance, motivation, and management of performance * Provides effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance * Participates, as appropriate, in formal processes such as compensation negotiations and disciplinary procedures * Applies creative problem-solving to address business needs and issues * Provides assistance, information, or support to others as needed Do you have these qualifications? * Essential: * Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a Construction Manager role with experience in residential construction * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Preferred: * Bachelor's degree * Knowledge of BuildPro We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes comprehensive medical/dental, 401(k) with a company match, discounted stock purchase, discounts on mortgages, homes, and much more Come see why Toll Brothers has been attracting and retaining some of the best professionals in the industry APPLY ONLINE TODAY Toll Brothers is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity.
