Production Control Manager at Amazon Robotics

As a Production Control Manager within the Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations (RMTO) team, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing a robust production control process for high-volume manufacturing and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage material flow to ensure timely production
  • Coordinate with departments to optimize operational efficiency
  • Plan and document part numbers, quantities, and suppliers
  • Implement visual management processes on the shop floor
  • Update production spreadsheets for clear communication
  • Coordinate material staging and replenishment
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and cycle count programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure schedule adherence
  • Create standard operating procedures for work processes
  • Monitor production line flow and schedule execution

Success Metrics:

  • NPI Material Build Readiness %
  • Aged Oracle Transaction Reports
  • On Time Delivery / Build Plan Adherence
  • Inventory Accuracy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in team leadership and project management
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in MRP and MES systems like Oracle and Proplanner
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL
