Our client, a leading medical device company, is seeking an experienced Product Manager. As a Product Manager with this Leading Surgical Medical Device Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our innovative laser medical devices portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of assigned products, from conception to launch and beyond. Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, you will ensure that our products meet the needs of both healthcare professionals and patients while aligning with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer needs.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.

Product Development: Collaborate with R&D teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and guide the development process from ideation to commercialization.

Launch Planning: Lead product launch initiatives, including the development of launch plans, marketing materials, and sales training programs to ensure successful market entry.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to coordinate product development activities and ensure alignment across departments.

Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, including product enhancements, line extensions, and end-of-life strategies, to maximize product value and longevity.

Market Support: Provide support to sales and marketing teams by delivering product training, developing sales tools, and participating in customer meetings and events.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with regulatory requirements and standards, collaborating with regulatory affairs teams as needed.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance metrics, analyze market feedback, and conduct post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, and industry partners, to gather insights and drive product adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience with 3 years in product management within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on surgical devices preferred.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Strong understanding of medical device development processes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare market dynamics.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, evaluate product performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of driving product success and achieving business objectives.
