What you'll do:
Role of FP&A and Cash Controller, reporting to the Division CFO, Americas. Will support the Financial Data Analysis and Cash Controlling of the Americas division. Will build reporting models to support Americas management in accurate and timely financial information. FP&A and Cash Controller will play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and treasury activities. The primary objective of this role is to provide financial insights that aid in strategic decision-making, drive financial performance, and support the Americas growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis.
- Preparing financial performance reports for leadership, including variance analysis reports
- Follow up on Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and provides consolidated analysis of Americas results.
- Provides the Americas division liquidity forecasting - Actuals/Forecast/Variances/Trends.
- Position will provide critical accounting and analytical support for various processes as well as provide additional support to other functional areas to achieve results.
- Supports the Americas finance with the management of cash needs.
- Provide meaningful data to support projects and initiatives to improve productivity, simplifying processes, and improve reporting.
- Build financial models to support analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement
- Collect, validate, interpret more complex data, and leads communication of more detailed technical information
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management
- Partner with finance business partners and regional finance leads in support of finance and organizational goals and objectives.
- Proactive involvement to drive productivity and reduce costs
- Provide a variety of Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting, analysis, and planning processes
- 10-15 years of progressive experience and responsibility in financial roles
- Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent required
- Highly skilled in ERP systems, Excel, PowerBi and financial modeling
- Positive mindset and active team player
- Comfort with ambiguity and strong desire to contribute to growth of the business
- Flexibility to contribute to operations of the business outside of one's core responsibilities when necessary
- Proactive communicator and ability to work with people globally
- Self-motivated
- Finance experience in automotive industry
- HFM experience
