Vaco Staffing is recruiting for a Staff Accountant for a client in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client.

Duties include:
  • Codes invoices
  • Prepares and posts general ledger journal entries
  • Manages the month-end and year-end close
  • Prepares, reviews, and distributes monthly operating and executive financial reports
  • Reconciles and enters monthly financial information in the system
  • Reviews monthly financial statements
  • Investigates significant variances to budgeted and forecasted amounts
  • Analyzes and reconciles various general ledger balance sheet accounts
  • Assists in the preparation of Budgets and periodic Forecasts for assigned business units
  • Assists the input and the reconciliation of Budget and Forecast information into the consolidation system (
  • Assists the Cost Team with the completion of the physical inventory at off-site facilities
  • Other special projects or necessary duties as required
Requirements:
  • BA in Accounting or Finance required
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Three + years' experience
  • CPA Certification or CPA Candidate Preferred
