If you're an Automation or Controls Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring a Controls Engineer to support their production lines at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to the floor for controls systems to ensure efficiency and flow of productivity. If you have a passion for continuous improvement and excellence in production processes, apply now What You Will Be Doing Provide technical support to the production floor on control related issues and questions by identifying and troubleshooting and implementing solutions Design and perform regular updates on control systems that include active safety controls, assembly and test automation controls. Develop and update Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems and applications. Maintain and troubleshoot smart devices that include electric torque drivers, vision systems, pick-to-light, etc. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required, electrical or aerospace engineering preferred. Ability to travel up to 10% throughout the year. Previous internship in an aerospace or similar role/industry is desired. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
