Our client, on the Westside of Jacksonville is seeking a Training Coordinator to join their team. As a Training Coordinator , will report to the Optimization team in managing our OJTs (On-the Job Trainers). The OJT will work with the OJT Coordinator on training new operators on assigned parts of our production line, and ensure they are able to perform their role quickly and effectively after initial hiring through the application of effective training procedures.Job Title: Training CoordinatorLocation: Westside of Jacksonville Pay Range: $18.75 Day Shift; $20 Night Shift Fulltime. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off - every other weekend. Day shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM. Night shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM. 12-hour shift.Job duties: Coordinate training needs with the shift supervisors.Organize the OJT's schedule with new operators and existing operators. Manage up to 8 OJT's working schedules.Monitor new operators' improvement and certify that completion of skills is recorded accurately. Conduct performance evaluations for OJT's and provide coaching and feedback to improve OJT performance. Update the manpower optimization department on completion of standards and operator certification readiness. Assist in creating, translating, and updating training materials as needed.Conduct line audits to ensure operators are operating safely, following SOP's, and conducting quality checksRequirements: Ability to physically demonstrate tasks and answer follow up questions effectively.Ability to understand and apply knowledge of SOP's, product quality standards, and other related technical documents.Demonstrates a learning focused mentality committed to producing world class operators.Represents the company and its policies in a positive manner.Thoroughness and attention to detail.Good interpersonal & communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software. (Excel, Word, Power Point). Must Have: High School Diploma or GED minimum. Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields. Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment. Requires solid work ethic; good attendance and punctuality. Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds and stand for a twelve-hour work shift. Ability to handle daily physical workload, lift and move parts and work with machinery. Ability to work under pressure. Experienced in production safety, occupational health, environmental protection, report writing. Experienced in a training or mentorship role.What's in it for me?
