Overview of the Role The selected candidate will lead key commodities within Real Estate and Workplace Services such as: physical security, furniture and Fixtures (FF&E), Office Technology, Carpet, Lighting systems, and other related commodities, that are procured at a global scale

Responsibilities Supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies related to the global commodity spend areas including analyzing spend data, market research, formulating strategies to optimize and rationalize spend, recommending and driving the tendering process (RFx), reaching agreements on contract terms with suppliers, managing any requirement transaction, as well as the contract life cycle.

Establishing and expanding relationship with Salesforce stakeholders across the region, including senior real estate leads in the region finance and accounting risk management.

Influencing strategies, decisions, and leading complex highly visible negotiations with key partners, including the establishment of service levels, key performance indicators, labor rate cards, cost models, terms and conditions negotiations, in order to mitigate risk and increase savings.

Managing all engagements and relationships with major suppliers that support Salesforce global real estate and workplace services team. You will responsible for maintaining the global contracts and act as the escalation point for any contract issues.

Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Operations as well as REWS teams to ensure timely source and procure goods and services for REWS programs and workspaces.

Drive Supplier Business Reviews with key partners, in collaboration with team members to ensure strategic alignment and supplier compliance with service levels and KPl's.

Build and analyze complex spreadsheets and datasets and be able to provide insights and recommendations base on data analytics.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of combined experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, project management, facilities services

3+ years in global commodity management of materials and systems like furniture, carpets, lighting, IT equipment, and related supply chain area related to construction, furniture, and equipment and physical security.

Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to be flexible and willing to learn about new scopes as the business needs evolve.

Experience in the sourcing process (i.e., RFx development and execution), reviewing, analyzing, drafting and determining contract terms with respect to major initiatives of medium to high complexity.

Mastery in presentation skills to executives, with the ability to analyze and explain strategies, pricing models, and contract terms.

Strong understanding of legal concepts and ability to navigate improved terms with suppliers.

Outstanding relationship management skills, as well as the ability to partner with suppliers, internal customers, and senior management.

Self starter, well organized, and able to use unstructured data or minimum information in order to build a plan of action with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Strong comprehension of the US and international labor markets, labor rates, handling union labor, and various economic levers that may affect labor cost.
