Role: GenAI/AI Solution Architect - Senior Delivery Principal or Delivery Director
Join Slalom's East Shared and Emerging team as an GenAI/AI Solution Architect, a role crucial for designing and implementing production AI solutions that address complex business problems. This position requires a professional dedicated to staying on top of the latest AI technologies and adept at applying them to create innovative products and services. Ideal for those with a passion for AI-driven business transformation, you will lead the way in integrating cutting-edge AI solutions in a dynamic, multifaceted business environment.
What You'll Do
- Create high-level and detailed design plans for AI and ML production solutions, including selecting appropriate AI algorithms, data sources, infrastructure, and technologies that align with the organization's goals and constraints.
- Lead the development of AI products taking them from prototype to production including deployment on cloud platforms
- Consult with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, assess how AI techniques like machine learning, natural language processing etc. can address those needs
- Design the overall architecture of AI solutions including the relationships between various components
- Work with data engineers and scientists to ensure effective data collection and preparation for training AI models
- Continuously monitor the performance of AI solutions and implement improvements
- Keep updated with advances in AI technology and find opportunities to upgrade existing solutions
- 7+ years experience architecting and developing AI or machine learning solutions on platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Azure, Google Cloud and OpenAI.
- Hands-on experience with Deep Learning, LLM, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and other AI frameworks
- Experience bringing a GenAI project through production and implementation
- Ability to think creatively and collaborate about applying AI to solve business problems with multiple capabilities, including Experience Design, Change Management and Process Reengineering
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain AI solutions to stakeholders
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible to hire in multiple locations across the East Coast, and at two levels (Senior Principal and Director).
In New York, the base salary pay range for the Senior Delivery Principal level role is $167,000 to $258,000.
In New York, the base salary pay range for the Delivery Director level role is $192,000 to $307,000.
In New Jersey, the base salary pay range for the Senior Delivery Principal level role is $153,000 to $237,000.
In New Jersey, the base salary pay range for the Delivery Director level role is $175,000 to $281,000.
In Connecticut, the base salary pay range for the Senior Delivery Principal level role is $140,000 to $217,000.
In Connecticut, the base salary pay range for the Delivery Director level role is $161,000 to $258,000.
