At this moment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Snacks Consumer Insights & Analytics Manager, who will influence Pepsico`s Snacks Marketing strategy in Romania.

Responsibilities:

On this role, you will lead Romania`s Snacks Deploy Insights agenda:

  • Contribute to Pepsico Snacks category strategy creation through:
    • identifying key consumer insights & market trends
    • guiding penetration and share of market growth for Snacks category in Romania
    • prioritizing the growth territories & Must Win Battles as part of ICP process;
    • supporting Marketing teams, contributing to the company development within ACP process
    • Contribute to portfolio optimization & expansion plans: consumer appeal & reach of a new brands, sublines, size of prize etc.;
  • Support iS&OP process at particular stages (DMRs, PMRs, MBRs) bringing in the consumer perspective;
  • Act as central reference point on consumer trends and insights, market trends and competitor information for RO Marketing Deploy team;
  • Execute Snacks Research agenda, within given budget and agreed timings;
  • Manage research agencies resources effectively to deliver strong business results, lead contract negotiations and maintain winning relationships with Research Institutes to ensure Companys interests are in place at the most beneficial level. Involve Research Institutes in internal workshops making them a strategic business partner to drive the highest level of quality and cost efficiency;
  • Provide analytical contribution to business-as-usual decision making process per Marketing business questions;
  • Lead deep dive advanced analyses and presentations on market trends, growth opportunities, consumer behaviors in snacks categories leveraging both internal and external research and analytical tools (GFK Household panel data, Nielsen Retail audit, sell in data, Brand health tracker surveys, qualitative research etc.) to strengthen Marketing plans & win with consumers;
  • Opportunity hunting: proactively seek potential chances & solutions using all available data sources to accelerate share growth in Snacks categories;
  • Ownership the Romania Brand Health Tracker (BHT) project the tool maintenance, implementation of the necessary adjustments, yearly contract negotiations, usage trainings organization, acquiring the necessary inputs from the key stakeholders, results analysis & deployment, recommendation building;
  • Propagate the BHT tool within the Romanian community by showing the new capabilities and working out & presenting the conclusions & recommendations
  • Build Marketing teams Insights capabilities support in driving data/consumer culture for consumer centricity and on-going cooperation with CE Category, DX shopper Insights and Sector/Global Insights teams.


Qualifications:

Whos a good fit for the team:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in any of: Qualitative & Quantitative research, Insights analytics, Business analytics, Customer analytics, Marketing research, Trade marketing analytics
  • Minimum 3 years experience in working with market performance data; experience in (1) GfK Household Panel, (2) Brand Health Studies and (3) Nielsen (Answers / Discover tool);
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to connect data / insight from different data sources (any of: category consumption, brands drivers, macroeconomic trends, Household Panel data, Retail audit data analysis, insights from qualitative research) to business conclusions and recommendations
  • Excellent English verbal and communication skills
  • Solid project management skills, ideally put in practice in consumer research/ data analytics projects
  • Good collaboration skills and able to work in business setups involving multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor`s degree
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word).
