Job Description:

The Entry Level Events Assistant at CORE X PLUG will support the events team in planning, organizing, and executing various events. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

$1100 - $1350 weekly

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social events
  • Help with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure event success
  • Prepare and organize event materials, such as promotional items and signage
  • Assist with event registration and attendee management
  • Support marketing efforts to promote events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels
  • Conduct research on venues, vendors, and other event-related resources
  • Provide on-site support during events to address any issues and ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records of event details and expenses
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
