We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the life cycle of our projects while ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to Blair, Church & Flynn's standard of excellence.
To be considered, you should have your Professional Engineer license, a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of five years' relevant work experience. You should also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage projects from conception to completion
- Analyze plans, survey reports, maps, and other data related to project design
- Consider regulations, site selection, and other factors relevant to a project
- Prepare cost estimates to determine a project's economic feasibility
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with other professionals such as architects, contractors, and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed on time
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress reports to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of engineering practices and standards
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Must have a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in engineering design software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This position is located in our Henderson office and requires off-site meetings or job site visits
