The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a strong background in designing and developing mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in using CAD software such as SolidWorks and knowledge of GD&T principles. They will also demonstrate proficiency in conducting tolerance studies and using measurement instruments, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly are essential. Experience in the medical device and aerospace industries is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creates and documents process instructions, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with customers and coworkers to resolve product/process issues.
  • Creates and maintains drawings CAD files to produce parts based upon customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with production and quality team members to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Responsible for planning and performing design & development tasks from concept to implementation.
  • Responsible for studying and evaluating disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts, including all necessary functions leading to presentation and recommendation of possible solutions.
Requirements
  • 10 years of working experience as a Mechanical Engineer
  • BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience drafting and performing tolerance studies
  • Experience in using measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Experience with drafting software and GD&T (SolidWorks)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
