Solutions Center Representative - Partnership with Ohio Deferred Compensation

Start Date: 12/2/2024
Pay Rate: $19 per hour, paid weekly
Location of Assignment: Hybrid ; 2-3 days per week onsite at 257 E. Town Street Suite 457, Columbus, OH
Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Our client is based out of Columbus and looking to hire new grads or career changers This unique opportunity is partnered with our client and the Ohio Deferred Compensation plan. It is hybrid, contract-to-hire, and best of all: You are provided with the study materials, company time and funds to take the Securities Industry Essentials exam (SIE) You may be a great fit for this role if:

  • You are goal-oriented, as it is required for you to pass the exam in 3 tries
  • You enjoy helping others over the phone

Job Profile Summary:
  • As a Representative, you'll provide extraordinary care to our members, partners, plan sponsors and investment professionals with Ohio's Deferred Compensation Plan
  • You will understand high-level product/plan and regulatory requirements to analyze and resolve general account, plan fees or plan inquiry questions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives and responds to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors and members on a variety of topics.
  • Educates customers to ensure understanding of tax implications, penalties/surrender charges, death benefit protection, lifetime income, capital preservation and/or benefits pertaining to the plan/contract.
  • Analyzes problems to determine proper course of action, striving for first time final resolution.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales-related occupations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others.
  • Ability to understand general aspects of plan/contract and utilizes technology to enhance conversations with customers.
Education/Experience:
  • Undergraduate in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, communications preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
