This position is responsible for coordinating the proposal process to include writing, proofreading and editing proposal content, correspondence, marketing materials, web content, and other written materials. This position is also responsible for various administrative duties in support of the Principals. * Prepare proposals, requisitions, certificates, and other production related documents. * Coordinate proposal submissions and collections to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines. * Coordinate and edit technical inputs for grammar and clarity, while ensuring integrity of initial intent. * Proofread and edit documents, obtain necessary approval(s), and deliver finalized completed proposal. * Maintain quality results by using templates, following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; and ensuring alignment with company branding. * Assist with maintaining and updating proposal documents, providing information for awards, or other requested items. * Assist in the documentation of RFPs and RFQs * Work with SMEs to identify graphics (charts, process flows, screenshots, etc.) that convey the theme or solution being proposed. * Generate proposal content for private, municipal, state and/or federal solicitations per the direction of Project/Contract Managers. * Track active proposal submissions that are coming due or that have been submitted and under evaluation. * Compose correspondence, including responses to mail, telephone or email inquiries for information or to address issues within scope of responsibilities. * Perform clerical and administrative duties, as needed, to support Principals. Serves as back-up for receptionist, as needed. Job Requirements * Bachelors degree * 1 year of professional office experience * Experience with proposal design software such as InDesign preferred. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Education
