We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bilingual Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to support our client's hiring efforts and help them attract top talent to advance their mission. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish/Arabic and English and possess a strong background in recruitment, ideally within a non-profit setting. The Bilingual Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies and then guide candidates through offer and onboarding stages.

Bilingual Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for a high volume of roles within the organization
  • Create and manage job postings on various platforms, including social media, job boards and community networks
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates through a variety of channels, including networking events, professional associations and online platforms
  • Conduct initial screenings, phone interviews and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and team dynamics; provide guidance on best practices for interviewing and hiring
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and other recruitment-related databases
  • Ensure that all recruitment practices adhere to relevant employment laws and organizational policies
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, community events and other recruitment-related activities

Bilingual Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a preference for experience in a non-profit environment
  • Fluency in Spanish or Arabic and English is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with diverse populations; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
  • High level of professionalism, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Passion for the mission of the organization and a commitment to advancing social impact
