Dit ga je doen als Senior Engineer Exterior - Special Engineering

De Senior Engineer Exterieur (EXT) - Special Engineering (SE) maakt deel uit van een multidisciplinair team en rapporteert aan de Engineering Project Manager. Hij of zij geeft ook functioneel leiding aan een team van ongeveer 10 Engineers. De Senior Engineer onderhoudt contacten met de klant, leveranciers, productie, het projectteam en andere engineering disciplines. De Senior Engineer EXT - SE is verantwoordelijk voor de totale oplevering (vanaf de eerste klantenvoorstellen tot de overdracht aan productie) van engineering items zoals beweegbare bodems van zwembaden (glas), uitklapbare TV-schermen, deuren, glazen schuifpanelen en meer. Naast de interdisciplinaire systeemintegratie van deze items in het exterieur, richt de detail engineering zich ook op de maakbaarheid van o.a. buitenmeubels, buitenkeukens, gepolijste trappen/railings, zwembaden, enz.

In deze rol begrijp je hoe het bouwproces in elkaar steekt, heb je ervaring met het organiseren van werkzaamheden en het werken met planningen. Je bent in staat om volledig overzicht te houden op het project en bij te sturen waar nodig. Je bent gewend om tekeningen van Naval Architects/Designers over te nemen en verder uit te werken tot een werkbaar pakket voor eigen productie en toeleveranciers. Je bent volledig inzetbaar op locatie Amsterdam en/of de Kaag.

Overige werkzaamheden:

In contact met engineeringbedrijven omtrent maakbaarheid, kwaliteit en ontwerp. Direct contact met projectteams van eigenaren van de Superjachten. Initiëren en ondersteunen van verbeterprojecten.

Dit breng je mee

Voor deze functie vragen wij minimaal een afgeronde mbo-niveau 4 opleiding, richting Werktuigbouw, Hout en Meubel (scheeps- en jachtbouw) of Industrieel ontwerp, aangevuld met enkele jaren relevante werkervaring. Je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal goed in woord en geschrift en kunt goed overweg met een CAD-applicatie in 2D en 3D. Kortom, een technisch talent met uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden. Je hebt een analytisch denkvermogen en bent in staat om buiten de gebaande paden naar oplossingen te zoeken. Daarnaast ben je productief, kostenbewust en proactief.

Ook de volgende criteria zijn van belang:

3 tot 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring; MS-office kennis; Kennis van NX of Catia of andere High End pakketten; Kennis van jachtbouw is een pre (vliegtuigbouw is een optie); Kennis van Teamcenter is een pre; Ervaring met het maken van detailtekeningen.
