With over 137 years of experience, our clients rely on us for our time-tested ability to manage the entire life cycle of a project, from study and planning to design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead field inspections as a team leader to evaluate existing conditions, document findings, and record measurements in the field.
  • Develop inspection reports, inspection field sketches in CAD, photo appendices, and inspection finding recommendations.
  • Operate inspection equipment (bucket trucks, access lifts, etc.).
Requirements:
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EI or PE Registration.
  • Three-five years of experience in design of transportation projects for State Agencies in the Southeast.
  • FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Certification (preferred).
  • Previous bridge, culvert, ancillary highway structures, and/or tunnel inspection experience.
  • Experience with FHWA Inventory and Element Level data collection.
  • OSHA, SPRAT, or equivalent training a plus.
  • Experience with current AASHTO design specifications, design procedures, bridge standards, and details, and structural computer models.
  • Ability to develop CAD drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD.
  • Good project management, technical writing, and communication skills.
