The Project Coordinator will assist the marketing department in organizing, planning, and reporting on the marketing efforts of the company. This entry level position ensures that the department operates as efficiently and effectively as possible and will manage projects across the entire marketing toolkit. Based on interest, ability, and bandwidth the position may also evolve to include strategic planning and execution of marketing tasks.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee and manage production schedules and ensure key deadlines are met by both the marketing team and other stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, the production of advertisements, catalogues, printed collateral, and other projects requiring design work
Ensure marketing department projects are well supported by graphic designers, marketing team members, and other employees
Coordinate biweekly meetings with specialist departments, take notes, and follow up with marketing team members and specialists for deliverables and action items
Audit marketing processes and identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Act as the administrative support to the marketing department and assist with events, content creation, and other needs
Manage day-to-day relationships with advertising partners, printers, and other marketing vendor
Collaborate with other Freeman’s | Hindman departments to develop strategies for reaching goals set and ensuring seamless client services
Work closely with the Director of Production and all other members of the marketing team to help achieve marketing goals.
Potential candidate will possess:
Bachelor's Degree OR 2 years of experience in the auction industry/marketing
Experience at a major auction house
Proven ability to lead and manage a team including ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong sense of professionalism
Superior communication skills and presence
Track record of successful client relationship management and new business generation
Exceptional organizational skills; superior teamwork and administrative skills
Ability to learn new internal systems and program quickly
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Proven ability to deliver results
