Billing and Invoicing Specialist

Wilmington, DE

Hybrid

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Billing and Invoicing Specialist. The Billing and Invoicing Specialist is responsible for processing credits and rebills as requested by internal customers as well as other projects and assignments as needed. Someone who is proficient in Excel, has exceptional problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment will do well in this position.

The Billing Team is responsible for numerous functions including eBilling, Summarized Invoicing, Customer Billing with a strong focus on process improvements.

Some of the things you will be doing:
  • Process credits and rebills requested by customer service
  • Process Service Creation and Service Setup update requests in SAP
  • Create consolidated invoices through Convergent Billing
  • Perform reviews of Transactional & Renewal invoicing to ensure ongoing accuracy
  • Handle additional related projects as assigned.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide recommendations for ensuring/validating data quality
  • Maintain and/or create process documentation
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in SAP and ETP billing platforms
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, ASAP Utilities)
  • Proven track record of achievement and strong performance
  • Effective written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work independently and function as part of a team, and across teams
  • Strong time management, research & analytical skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A history of detail-oriented, multi-tasking in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
