Essential Functions
The Assistant Dean of Admission for Marketing coordinates the admission process for applicants and supports broader institution-wide marketing efforts with a focus on content creation for digital recruitment, stewardship, and engagement. This person reports directly to the Dean of Enrollment and Financial Aid and the Employee of Marketing and Communications and will work closely with both to own the communications and marketing efforts within the Admission Office.Responsibilities essential to this function include:
Serve as a member of the Committee on Admission, work with prospective students and families throughout the admissions process—introduce the Academy and support them through matriculation.
Host students and families on campus for visits, coordinatingtours and schedules.
Represent Wayland Academy regionally at high school fairs and events.
Stay connected with current parents to support student retention efforts and encourage referrals.
Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing and Communications, monitor and ensure effective visual/interactive assets are available to support marketing efforts (digital and print).
Working independently to design and produce original content including videography and photography from storyboard to production to final product.
Become SEVIS certifiedas a Designated School Officialand assist with efforts for I-20 procurement by working with SEVISand the PDSO.
Perform other duties as assigned by Dean of Enrollment and Financial Aidand the Employee of Marketing and Communications.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The employee routinely supervises students in the dormitories, dining hall and other campus community related activities.

Travel Required
Traveling with and for students for academic, extracurricular, and residential life functions is a regular duty.
Overnight out-of-state or foreign travel for school related business may be assigned.
