About the position Pando Telecom Co. seeks an experienced RF Engineer who has a passion and enthusiasm for delivering Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Our enterprise customers are our main focus but the qualified candidate will have experience working with Mobile Network Operations, installation contractors, radio operators and other key stakeholders. As a member of the Pando Team, you can expect to support the installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of DAS deployments. RF testing, troubleshooting, assessment, and analysis are within your skillsets. Locations Northern California Southern California Qualities we like in candidate Fosters relationships with new and existing customers or accounts Shares excitement with team members for delivering technology and solutions to end users Willingness to be of a small, but growing organization Desires to contribute to customer satisfaction and to internal company morale What you will be doing Coordinating DAS deployments with mobile network operators, AHJs, and installation subcontractors Logging KPIs and collecting needed metrics to demonstrate system performance for analysis and assessment Scheduling projects and managing risk with efficiency to deliver solutions within budget Coordinating on-site installation and testing activities with the customer Managing project parts, inventory, components and delivery schedules Developing processes, establishing and refining standard operating procedures Working independently and with a group of team members Who is the qualified candidate 3 - 5 years of experience in the DAS industry A tenacious self-starter who is driven to deliver top performing systems Consistently well-spoken and dedicated to the project mission Excellent oral and written communication skills Solid understanding of RF principles, RF theory, and network design principles You take ownership of situations and you never assume others will handle open items Priority of time management and organizational tasks Willingness to learn new skills, software, database, and technologies Proficiency in RF testing, analysis and assessment, and system architecture Experience working remotely and in an office environment Some basic requirements BS/BA in Engineering, Information Systems or a related field A valid drivers license Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening upon request The benefits of working at Pando Telecom Co.
