Onsite Role / 100-110k / DERRY, NH / Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer

(Security/Networking)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's infrastructure, networks, and systems. They will play a key role in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the security infrastructure of the organization, including firewalls, intrusion

detection/prevention

systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses in our systems and networks.
Analyze security logs and monitor network traffic for signs of unauthorized activity or security breaches.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Work closely with the IT team to design and implement secure network architectures and configurations.
Collaborate with other departments to provide security guidance and support for new projects and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
Vendor Management / Purchasing IT equipment/licenses

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
Experience with Windows Servers, Office 365, Exchange, Windows OS.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors, and experience in conducting security assessments and penetration testing.
