Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established fine ingredients developer supporting global businesses in personal care and consumer care products. They are looking to add a Regulatory Affairs Associate to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr - $30/hr

Position Overview:

This exciting Regulatory Affairs Associate role reports to the Group Director and will have extensive coordination with different team managers and specialists in a friendly and collaborative environment. The successful candidate is responsible for supporting the team tasked with regulatory compliance and conformity to customer requirements for fragrance products.

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Associate:

  • Work with a team of regulatory Specialists and Managers to collaborate on regulatory projects.
  • Provide support for all product compliance/regulatory, product claims, and certifications aspects, including compliance reviews and documentation.
  • Perform data management for compliance systems.
  • Create and automate documentation for customers.
  • Assist in other projects assigned.
Qualifications for the Regulatory Affairs Associate:
  • Experience in regulatory affairs disciplines in raw materials or fine ingredients or similar environments.
  • Relevant internship experience in industry will be considered.
  • Ability to follow directions, work in data management systems, and manipulate Excel files.
  • Demonstrate ability to work within a team, while maintaining discipline to work independently off-site.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to operate effectively within the regulatory systems, documentation systems, and office systems.
  • Provide customer support to sales, creative, and applications, for fragrance safety and regulatory issues.
  • Prepare customer documentation for fragrance formulas.
  • Demonstrate diligence and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills as well as a customer service approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Good project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
