Our client has an immediate need for a Auditor Associate for a large employer in the Wilkes Barre, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity on a hybrid schedule.

Candidates must be able to commute to Wilkes Barre, PA 2 days per week. The auditor associate will be responsible for conducting Workers Compensation insurance audits. The purpose of this audit is to determine the customers actual insurance exposure and to process adjustments to ensure appropriate premiums are billed to the customer.

What youll do:

+ Reviewing and analyzing payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium base for a variety of insurance lines, including Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions)

+ Obtaining descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and through email

+ Determine if proper insurance classification codes have been assigned to customer policies according to the state manuals and suggest class code changes when appropriate

+ Adjust premiums based on state manual rules, such as officer wage adjustments, premium overtime credits, tip credits, etc.

+ Complete audit worksheets using an Excel template and process the audit findings in our database

+ Provide superior customer service to the policy
