CPA POSITION AVAILABLE WITH FUTURE OWNERSHIP POSSIBILITIES 

Our client, a well-established, successful CPA firm in Northeast Pennsylvania, is looking for a full time CPA with the desire and drive to eventually take over the firm. Thriving practice concentrated in small businesses and individuals. Grossing over $240,000 in tax and accounting fees, with room to grow. Utilize your expertise in tax preparation and planning, QuickBooks analysis, and reviews and audits of financial statements. Continue to grow as a professional in the field, improve your skills, and build a large professional network consisting of successful individuals from all walks of life.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Preparation of tax returns for Individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates & trusts, and not-for-profit.

•       Tax and business planning.

•       Client interactions and embracing client relationships that lead to new clients and retention.

•       Function as the point of liaison between our firm and federal, state, and local taxing agencies, ensuring seamless resolution of client concerns.

•       Participate in audits and reviews of financial statements for governmental and not-for-profit agencies.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

•       Bachelor's degree in accounting.

•       Active CPA license.

•       Minimum 3 years of experience in tax preparation during tax season.

•       Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

•       Working knowledge of QuickBooks.

•       Analytical prowess, keen attention to detail, and strong problem-solving aptitude

•       Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal

•       Demonstrated experience in public accounting firm.

•       Proficient in client management skills.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This is a full time, in person benefit-eligible position with a competitive base salary and an aggressive commission policy for business brought into the practice plus a discretionary post tax season bonus based upon performance and profitability. Retirement plan and medical insurance available. Stipend paid for non-use of medical insurance for an individual who does not require insurance.
