****Job Summary****
As the Procurement Buyer, you will be working with the IT Business as well as other indirect categories to execute spend against CAPEX and OPEX budget. You will also be responsible for evaluating invoices for accuracy. Additional job duties will include producing reports for management showing expenditures for their areas; coordinating creation of quotes; creation of purchase requisitions, etc.
****Essential Functions****
* Serve as the primary interface for day to day procurement ordering for Patterson
* Serve as the primary contact for procurements POs and invoice reconciliation.
* Periodically obtain quotes in a timely manner based on validated customer requirements
* Understand and interface with business partners regarding renewal order forms, ensuring requests meet and comply with all Patterson polices and guidelines
* Support functional category owner on ongoing sourcing activities
* Ensure cross functional collaboration with other business buyers and stakeholders
* Generate and deliver weekly consolidated status reports for procurement and IT leadership
* Assist in supplier invoice auditing and inventory management
* Partner with Receiving, Accounts Payable, and internal customers to resolve goods receipts and invoice errors
* Initiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's) and Statement of Work (SOW) to potential suppliers
* Managing the RFI/RFP process that includes organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results
* Take lead navigating the business unit and external supplier through the sourcing process.
* Process invoices for payment
****Job Qualifications****
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelors Degree, or relevant experience or other related field or minimum of 3+ years of experience
* 1+ year of project management experience
* Understanding of basic contracts
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to evaluate and quantify savings
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
* Ability to escalate problems for any support needed for problem resolution
* Ability to coordinate with geographically dispersed support and engineering group
* Ability to multi-task
**Preferred Qualifications**
* General sourcing experience
* 2+ years negotiating contracts
* Familiarity with Master Agreements
