to join our team working on-site at our corporate headquarters in Saint Cloud, MN. This is a fast-paced, highly interactive role sourcing and purchasing parts, equipment, materials, and services necessary to complete critical new and ongoing projects for our customers at job sites across the country. Due to the challenging turn-around times of our projects, our Senior Buyer must not only establish and maintain strong relationships with our preferred suppliers and partner companies but also be able and willing to employ creative problem-solving skills to ensure our project teams have the tools and supplies required to complete the job. They will be expected to maintain excellent records and reports. Qualifications include: * Five (5) years in industrial electrical or utility industry. * Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement. * Ability to read blueprints. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written) with internal and external customers. * Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word. * Successful experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. * Demonstrated experience in effectively researching and securing alternative solutions to vendor/material/product/shipment/quality issues. You will enjoy working on-site at our corporate headquarters. We work hard, but enjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
