Creative Financial Staffing is working with an exciting technology company in Cambridge to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team.

About the Company Seeking a Senior Accountant:

  • Born from a partnership between a major university and a publicly traded manufacturer, they conduct research on AI, robotics, and transportation technology
  • Focused on collaboration across departments, they host a weekly lunch and learn
  • The Finance and Accounting Teams are split between the GL department (where this position sits), AP/Procurement, and FP&A
  • Hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Manage all month-end close processes including:
    • Reviewing balance sheet accounts
    • Uploading journal entries
    • Preparing reconciliations
    • Helping pull flux analysis
  • Producing reports monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc, as requested
  • Acting as the liaison between the Accounting, Finance, and Procurement departments

Background Expected of the Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent
  • 5+ years in a Staff Accountant role with at least 1 year owning the month-end close
  • Experience with Workday is preferred
