Check Ops Specialist

Job Summary:Opens the department and performs a variety of clerical functions related to check processing using pre-established guidelines and methodology to meet production deadlines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Opens Department1 of 2 employees assigned to the USPS mail collection run(s)Preps, scans, imports and balances all AM check typesFully process incoming and outgoing checks & returnsFollows department guidelines for tracking and testingFamiliar with Disaster Recovery policies and proceduresLooks for ways to streamline and automate all processesTracks own accomplishments for annual performance reviewAdheres to all TAB Bank policiesTentative hours worked: Mon 5:30am - 1:30pm; Tue 9am - 1pm, Wed 9am - 1pmOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:Minimum high school diploma or equivalentBanking and/or customer service experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Able to follow directions and pay strict attention to detailGood verbal and written communication skills10 key proficientMust meet or exceed department prepping standards at set training intervalsAble to work under pressure without sacrificing accuracyAble to prioritize incoming work according to set production scheduleWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAble to build and maintain amicable relationships with team members and all departments servedTAB Bank will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
