Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for our Main Operating Room in Boise This is a full-time benefited position working on the day shift (4-10s: 7am-5:30pm or 3-12s: 7am-7:30pm). Main OR CSTs are on-call four 12-hour weekend shifts every 6-week period and are required to meet a 30-minute response time if called in.Saint Alphonsus colleagues enjoy:- Insurance benefits in place your first day of work- $10,000 sign-on bonus available- Relocation assistance for some candidates moving to the area- Shift differentials for evening/weekend/on call hours- Generous PTO (you'll earn 200 hrs/5 wks during the first year)As a CST with Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will prepare surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for complying with safety policies, recognizing & correcting breaks in aseptic technique, performing equipment checks for proper functionality, and reviewing/updating surgeon preference cards. You will also gown and glove yourself and other members of the team.Our ideal candidate has the knowledge and skills to care for patients of all ages while communicating effectively with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
