Position Overview:
We are in search of a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Main Operating Room team in Boise. This is a full-time position with benefits, primarily working during the day shift (options include 4-10s: 7am-5:30pm or 3-12s: 7am-7:30pm).
The Main OR CSTs will be required to be on-call for four 12-hour weekend shifts every six weeks and must be able to respond within 30 minutes if called in.

As a CST at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for preparing surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Your duties will include adhering to safety protocols, identifying and rectifying any breaches in aseptic technique, conducting equipment checks for functionality, and updating surgeon preference cards.
You will also assist in gowning and gloving yourself and other team members.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients across all age groups while effectively communicating with surgical teams and supervisory personnel.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the surgeon, as well as independently manage instrument, sponge, and sharp counts for all surgical procedures.
General Requirements:
Preferred one year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting (required for LPNs)
License/Certification:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT
An active LPN license may be accepted in lieu of CST/TS-C certifications
Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network
