The Staff Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline and improve accounting processes
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
