The Senior Manager, Legal Compliance supports Legal Counsel on regulatory compliance, and management of Company in discrimination/harassment/retaliation complaints and health and safety matters, including assistance with the Company's investigation and response to EEOC and state agency discrimination charges, OSHA UPAs, as well as assists with subpoena responses.
- Assist Legal Counsel with drafting and responding to OSHA, EEOC, and other employment related government agencies requests for documentation and records.
- Liaise with property Safety Managers and the Director of Safety & Health to timely investigate alleged health or safety hazards in OSHA UPAs; plan and prepare draft responses to OSHA UPA coordination with Legal Counsel, property Safety Managers, and the Director of Safety & Health.
- Assist legal counsel with investigating and responding to claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation and ensure legal compliance guidelines are met.
- Provide critical reports, as well as assist with government agency claims and litigation made against the Company.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- At least four (4) years of previous experience in employee relations, investigations or safety & health.
- Previous experience working in a similar legal setting.
- Previous experience with health and safety compliance, including OSHA standards and regulations.
