Flex Technology Group company is hiring an Accounting Manager, the salary range for this role is $125k-$135k.

The Accounting Manager reports to the Vice President of Accounting. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the accounting function by providing process knowledge, technical expertise, leadership, supervision, and business collaboration. The Accounting Manager possesses a strong desire to improve processes and controls.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Prepare error-free financial reports, perform research and analysis, maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as required.
  • Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Assist in managing the annual audit process and preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and develop internal controls to minimize financial risk and identify areas of opportunity to better safeguard assets.
  • Assist in the close process, including close calendar and checklist, while working with the accounting team to reduce the number of days to close.
  • Manage and review account reconciliations, journal entries, prepare variance analysis, and ensure accounting activities are well supported and documented.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of new accounting policies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial accounting data; create financial reports based on data analysis.
  • Make recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Oversee expense reporting process.
  • Constantly drive improvements to processes through automation.
  • Carry out other special projects and ad-hoc analyses as directed by management.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred.

•2+ years' experience in a previous Accounting Manager role.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (i.e., budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.).
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail who can seek innovative solutions to complex business, technical and database issues.
  • Sound understanding of both financial and operational controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly and concisely interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment; possess strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.
  • Reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, payroll accounting, and GL accounting and reconciliations.
  • Recruit and hire accounting staff and perform performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate training programs for staff.
