About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Product Manager to work in the Philadelphia Corporate office. The Product Manager will be responsible for market research, collaborating on new product concepts, creation of the MPL (Master Product List,) and managing programs and timelines to ensure products are successfully executed for both Unique and Key Accounts. Additional responsibilities include establishing product specifications and daily communication with vendors to ensure products are meeting all key deadlines and are produced to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program timelines to ensure deadlines are met along with on time delivery of programs.
  • Build a strong relationship with cross functional partners and suppliers to uphold our quality and performance standards.
  • Conduct analysis of customer and competitor product lines and research trends and the retail marketplace to influence new product development.
  • Establish product and packaging specifications and clearly communicate to internal partners.
  • Collaborate with planning and art teams to manage product and packaging art file deadlines.
  • Participate in program kick-off meetings, taking detailed notes for required sample needs and QA review.
  • Create and maintain program progress reports and update them with approval dates.
  • Update and communicate vendor status sheets during the development process of confirmed items.
  • Review development and pre-production samples with cross functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Verify pre-production samples to ensure quality and verify UPC, item number, colors, date codes and packaging.
  • Maintain organized sample files and program records.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
  • Must have strong organizational skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with above average problem solving and follow-through skills required.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Must conduct business with the highest standard of ethics.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing, Business or related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience related to product development, buying or marketing of consumer products required, 5 plus years of experience preferred.
  • Experience sourcing and working with domestic and international vendors and factories preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
