Description

Position Summary:

The Training Department's Assistant Manager of Training and Range Operations will assist the Director of Training with the development of curriculum and standard operating procedures for the Training Department. This position is also responsible for operations related to creating the store training calendar for all locations, maintaining customer sign-ups, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction with the training services conducted at all Frontier Justice facilities. Additionally, the Assistant Manager of Training and Range operations will assist the Director of Training in all matters of Range Safety compliance and Ranger Material (including HAZMAT) compliance. Finally, this position will assist with teaching classes to both clients and instructor teams as deemed necessary by the Director of Training.

Primary responsibilities:

Achieve Results

  1. Identifies current and future client requirements through established rapport while maintaining strong product educational knowledge and market trends in education.
  2. Creates and maintains training schedules for all locations.
3. Manages all Training Department customer service inquiries and all range special events, including group scheduling and private training.

4. Monitors class outcomes through evaluation reviews and personal observation.

5. Assists the Director of Training with providing continual-education training for Instructor Staff.

6. Monitors HAZMAT and Range Material Compliance for all ranges

Operational Excellence
  1. Ensures all Frontier Justice ranges and training facilities foster community.
  2. Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal and health requirements.
  3. Ensures the ranges and facilities are kept clean and safe.
  4. Facilitates special events and classes as directed, with enthusiasm, knowledge and keen customer service.
  5. Reports daily to the Director of Training as to any operational issues that might need to be addressed.
  6. Provides daily and weekly data driven reports based on KPIs that inform key training and range decisions within Frontier Justice.
  7. Ensures profitability of Ranges and Training Products. Uses the training budget to inform operations and expenses.
  8. Assists Director of Training in Monitoring Range Safety Program including the management of HAZMAT and Range Materials.
  9. Assists Director of Training and GMs with planning and scheduling HAZMAT pickup, Range Metal Recyclable pickup, Filter change and pickup, Range Mining, and other Range Maintenance Operations for all stores.
Relationships
  1. Establish and ensure collaborative, supporting relationships within the entire organization.
  2. Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key resources, including external vendors, trainers outside of FJ who will pay for space, and customers.
  3. Coordinates with GMs, ASMs, and ASMOs at all locations regarding classes, range maintenance, instructor certification, etc.

EDUCATION

High school diploma required, with college hours preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Preferably 3-5 years firearms education and/or range safety officer duties.

Minimum of NRA/USCCA Certified Pistol Instructor Certification

OTHER

•Must be able to physically audit and inspect all operations.

•Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.

•Available to occasionally travel to all Frontier Justice Facilities.
