Lead Patient Care Coordinator - Float pool A Lead Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of seamless care for patients. This position balances a complex daily workload, with multiple conflicting priorities, while providing superior customer service. They will serve as a resource to the Clinic Manager as well as a mentor to other Patient Care Coordinators by providing support, guidance, and training as needed. Responsibilities: Competency rounding on floats Checking off skills Low-grade coaching conversations Coaching on processes, workflows, and the mechanics of the role This does NOT include behavioral, policy, or HR conversations Rounding on floats/clinic leaders test-running positions Having a high level of understanding of every specialty Being the first point of contact for questions regarding the position or a clinic (as appropriate) Work closely with Education, Externship, and Quality programs Assist with float scheduling Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: 3 years experience in a Patient Care Coordinator or customer service type role with progressively increasing responsibilities 2 years experience in an administrative medical office type role in Providence or 3 years external administrative medical office type role Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience 6 months progressively responsible leadership experience Why Join Providence?
