SCC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Call Center Operator to join our Student Services team. Will handle outbound calls, provide exceptional customer service, assist with student inquiries, and support various administrative tasks to enhance the student experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the follow. Other duties may be assigned:
- Respond to incoming calls from current and prospective students, parents, and community members.
- Provide accurate information regarding college programs, admissions processes, financial aid, registration, and other student services.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward callers at all times.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Document call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Assist in updating and maintaining student records and databases.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or administrative role is desirable.
- Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
