Reporting to the Managing Director and head of Liquid Credit, the SVP is responsible for credit research, investment recommendations, and monitoring portfolio companies in 2-3 designated industries, including the healthcare industry.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate senior secured loan and high yield bond investment opportunitiesPerform due diligence on potential investments and assess risk factorsUtilize financial models and quantitative techniques to analyze borrower performanceMonitor and evaluate market trends and industry developmentsStay informed about regulatory changes and their potential impact on investmentsPrepare comprehensive investment reports and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with portfolio managers to make informed investment recommendationsParticipate in meetings and discussions to provide insights on market conditions and investment strategiesFoster and maintain relationships with sell-side and buy-side participantsQualificationsBachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar roleHealthcare industry experienceStrong analytical and quantitative skillsProficient in financial modeling and data analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamHighly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and BloombergCFA or other relevant certifications are a plusRequirementsYou must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and will not now or in the future require employment-based sponsorship.You must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening and background check.Must be willing to work from the New York or Chicago office and travel as necessary.New York City Only: salary ranges are specific to market location; the salary range for this position is USD $200,000 to $260,000 and eligible for annual bonus.
