WHAT YOULL DO

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Field Marketing team during the planning and implementation of the companys annual event marketing strategic plan, including but not limited to trade shows, customer?facing field events, and internal events. The coordinator will work directly with field marketing and sales. The coordinator will also provide support to the overall marketing operations.

General Qualifications

Ability to analyze customer situations, make decisions and solve problems under pressure. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and detail. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, and vendors where customer experience is the focus. Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, in groups, and via telephone and written communication. Ability to travel. Ability to sit for long periods of time entering computer data, researching leads, and telephone communication (up to eight (8) hours). Ability to be detail oriented, work without supervision and must be available during working hours.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist with logistics for events and tradeshows. Tasks include registration, hotel reservations, food orders, and shipping.
  • Assist Field Marketing team with tracking of expenses related to events.
  • Assist Regional offices/staff with tradeshow materials.
  • Maintain and track event and exhibit inventory.
  • Coordinate creation of new material as needed.
  • Ability to travel to support events, as needed.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

  • Excellent computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to accurately manage priorities and workflow within set timeframes, and outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships and work as a member of a team.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Experience selecting, contracting, and coordinating services from third?party vendors and agencies.
  • Experience with expense tracking.
